Full job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for aTests and Instrumentationto join a leading Company located in theStratford, CT surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $21.43 - $68.00 Hourly

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports building and maintenance of instrumentation systems to provide measurement data required by the Engineering Department.

  • Applies instructions prepared by technicians in the form of travelers, assists in the preparation, installation, check-out, and operation of instrumentation systems, follows planned maintenance/calibration and standard operating procedures for all instrumentation and control equipment in order to maintain accuracy of data and ensure its validity, and operates DAS and other recording equipment.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • Experience working on test aircraft avionics and instrumentation wiring preferred.

  • Experience and ability to accomplish required surface preparation, strain gage measurement, layout, alignment and bonding.

  • Experience with measurement systems, instrumentation wiring, documentation, and Wheatstone Bridge wiring of strain gages to measure Torque, Axial Load, Bending and Shear strain.

  • Minimum 5 years experience.

  • Requires flexibility to support overtime, extended and modified shift requirements.
