Radiology Operations Coordinator

City/State Newport News, VA Work Shift Weekend Days Overview: Sentara Port Warwick, located in Newport News, VA, is seeking a Radiology Operations Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time, weekend day shift position to support the MRI technologist with IV starts, provide exceptional patient and customer service, verify scheduled appointments, and perform various administrative duties as assigned.

Hours

• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 8am - 8:30pm

Overview

Performs administrative and clinical support in an accurate manner, which assures timely delivery of patient services in a multidisciplinary environment.

Education

• High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

Certification/Licensure

• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire

• IV certification (Preferred, but not required as training will be provided)

Experience

• Previous patient care experience (Preferred)

• Previous healthcare experience (Preferred)
