JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing direct patient care to patients under the supervision of a Physician / Advanced Practice Nurse / Physician Assistant in a clinic setting. Under the direction and supervision of the medical provider, the MOA is to carry out any duties delegated and requested by the medical provider.

This position may require providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of performance improvement process and patient safety plan.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training/Experience:

REQUIRED:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

  • Certified in American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider (CPR) upon hire

  • Completion of the 12 Medical Terminology CBLs within the first 3 months of hire

  • Completion of Injection Administration training and competency within the first month.

PAY STATUS

  • Non-exempt hourly
