Job Title Equipment Logistics Tech I Location Cleveland Facility Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Department Nursing Operations-Main Campus Hospital Job Code C10001 Shift Days Schedule 7:00am-3:30pm Job Summary Performs targeted rounding in active patient areas to recover assets for processing and redistribution. Cleans, evaluates, inspects, and delivers specified medical devices and equipment, including, but not limited to, infusion pumps, syringe pumps, feeding pumps, PCA pumps, DVT pumps, specialty beds, specialty carts and procedural trays. Job Details Responsibilities:

• Cleans, delivers, evaluates and inspects specified medical devices.
• Documents work activity in an electronic database.
• Delivers and recovers specialty carts and procedural trays.
• May be required to orders supplies and ensure adherence to unit/department budget
• May be required to stock patient rooms or deploy supplies for use within unit/department ​
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Certifications:

• None required

Complexity of Work:

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Work Experience:

• Hospital experience or logistics experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

• Ability to be mobile for extended periods of time.

• Ability to travel throughout the Cleveland Clinic health system.

• Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.

• Ability to operate emergency equipment.

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

• Ability to move/transport items weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)

• Ability to move/transport carts weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)

• Ability to move/transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds (lbs.)

• Ability to inspect equipment

• Ability to install, repair and maintain systems, equipment, fixtures and/or structures

• Ability to clean, operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products

• Ability to distinguish color.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
