ABOUT TRACXN Tracxn is a leading global market-intelligence platform covering millions of private companies. We power decision-making for Venture Capital firms, Private Equity, Investment Banks, and Corporates with deep data and insights.

ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a strategic problem solver to lead the data strategy for Tracxn’s core data production units. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and execution, requiring you to identify complex data production challenges, design scalable solutions, and drive end-to-end implementation.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to improve data quality, coverage, scalability, and operational efficiency while building automation-first solutions that strengthen Tracxn’s market-leading data platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Data Strategy & Business Impact

  • Own the data strategy for assigned data production units with end-to-end accountability.

  • Identify data coverage gaps, quality issues, and scalability bottlenecks through structured analysis.

  • Translate business and client data requirements into clear execution roadmaps.

  • Benchmark Tracxn’s data assets against industry standards to identify strategic improvement opportunities.

  • Drive initiatives that improve data quality, operational efficiency, and overall platform value. Problem Solving & Automation

  • Break down complex and ambiguous data challenges into structured problem statements.

  • Design practical, scalable solutions using first-principles thinking.

  • Build and implement automation workflows to improve production throughput and accuracy.

  • Eliminate recurring operational bottlenecks through process improvements and systems thinking.

  • Continuously optimize workflows to improve speed, consistency, and scalability. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

  • Align stakeholders on data definitions, standards, quality metrics, and delivery expectations.

  • Communicate strategy, progress, risks, and key performance metrics to senior leadership.

  • Drive cross-functional execution to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. ‍

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • B.Tech with an MBA from a Tier-1 institution is strongly preferred.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Data Strategy, Data Operations, Analytics, Business Strategy, or other analytical, technology-driven, or data-focused roles.
  • Strong first-principles problem-solving ability with experience solving complex, ambiguous business challenges.
  • Comfortable working at the intersection of data and technology, with the ability to understand code, technical systems, and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred: experience working with B2B data platforms, market intelligence, or private company datasets.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with automation or RPA tools such as UiPath, Power Automate, or similar platforms.
  • Preferred: experience driving data quality, process automation, or operational transformation initiatives. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT TRACXN
