JOB DUTIES:

Lay out, set up and operate one or more heavy metalworking machines such as power presses, saws, plate rolls, drills, , computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipment,

Read specifications or follow verbal instructions
-
Position heated metal ingots, on die of press or other forging machinery
-
Troubleshoot and perform corrective action or minor repairs
-
Document work completed
-
Clean or lubricate equipment and replace parts as required
-
Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
-
Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes and lift trucks
-
Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions

Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:

Mechanically inclined

High School

Ability to read measuring devices such as measuring tapes and digital calipers
