Parx Home Health Care is looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team!

As a PTA, you'll be responsible for assisting our patients in improving their quality of life by providing physical therapy services in the comfort of their own homes. At Parx, we believe that every patient deserves the best care possible, which is why we've been providing high-quality home health care services to clients for the past 20 years.

As our Home Health PTA, you'll have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced clinicians and healthcare professionals who are committed to helping patients recover and achieve their goals. You'll also be responsible for ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care and support possible.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one physical therapy services to patients in their homes.

  • Work with patients to develop and implement physical therapy plans of care.

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

  • Educate patients and their families about proper techniques for performing exercises and activities of daily living.

  • Document patient progress and communicate with the patient's physician and other healthcare professionals as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

  • Adhere to all state and federal regulations related to home health care services. Requirements

  • Associate's degree in physical therapy assisting from an accredited program.

  • Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Florida.

  • At least 1 year of experience in home health care.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of Medicare regulations and reimbursement guidelines.
