This job opportunity is an on-site role supporting our Hyperscale Data Center project in Spartanburg, SC.

We have immediate opportunities for Construction Project Engineers to support our EPCM projects.

As a Construction Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting project delivery by managing project information, coordinating documentation, and helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and project team, acting as a key contributor to project success through technical insight, financial awareness, and proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in executing and managing the change management process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

  • Act as a key contributor in monthly cost reporting meetings, providing meaningful insights and analysis

  • Adhere to and support project controls procedures, including cost tracking, pay applications, and reporting

  • Coordinate and expedite material procurement and delivery to maintain project schedules

  • Review and evaluate shop drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract documents

  • Ensure all project documentation is collected, organized, and distributed effectively across stakeholders

  • Promote innovation by encouraging teams to explore creative solutions to challenges and opportunities

  • Foster a customer-centric approach, proactively reviewing feedback and strengthening client relationships

  • Demonstrate understanding of various market sectors and delivery methods to enhance service delivery

  • Mentor and coach junior team members, supporting their professional growth

  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

  • 2 or more years of experience with a general contractor, construction manager, or large trade contractor

  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Demonstrated ability to set measurable performance goals and hold teams accountable

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, collaboration, and engagement

  • Understanding of financial management principles and how project performance impacts profitability

  • Ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences, including delivering clear presentations and technical documentation

  • Working knowledge of construction cost controls and reporting practices

  • Familiarity with MEP systems and coordination

  • Strong understanding of contract documents, specifications, and construction processes
