How you’ll shape the future of the Maintenance Department:

  • Select the appropriate type and size of pipe and related materials and equipment, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to specifications.

  • Assemble and install a variety of metal and non-metal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron and steel.

  • Modify existing piping systems and machinery as needed using diagrams and plant-accepted procedures.

  • Complete and maintain specification sheets, PM checklists, and other documentation as needed.

  • Install and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment, such as pumps and cylinders, using hand and power tools.

  • Cut pipe using saws, pipe cutters, cutting torches, pipe-cutting machines, and other appropriate tools.

  • Secure piping with brackets, clamps, and hangers using hand and power tools.

  • Perform assigned duties in a manner that promotes safety, quality, and production assurance.

You’ll Be Someone Who Can Bring:

  • High school diploma/GED

  • Minimum of five years of experience as a Pipefitter

  • Ability to work rotating shifts

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to work in various conditions and temperatures, both indoors and outdoors

  • In addition to demonstrating proficient pipefitting knowledge and skills, candidates may be required to demonstrate welding proficiency through TIG and SMAW testing on carbon and stainless steel.
