Job Description

Responsibilities

The Scheduler schedules patients for outpatient diagnostic testing and/or surgical procedures for Norton Medical Group patients. The individual instructs doctor's office and/or patients regarding pre-procedure clinical preparations, as required, and obtains basic demographic and insurance coverage information. Obtains and processes orders through our EPIC electronic health record or other methods as necessary. Responsible for reviewing orders to ensure all information is complete and meets the criteria.

Qualifications

Desired:

One year scheduling tests/procedures or patient registration experience in a healthcare setting
