REGISTERED NURSE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and overall management of care for the Psychiatric patient population

QUALIFICATIONS:

Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Nursing
-
New Graduate Registered Nurses are welcome
-
1+ Years of RN experience working in Psychiatry/Behavioral Health/Mental Health preferred

New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred

Basic Life Support (BLS) required & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
Salary Range
USD $55.13 - USD $64.36 /Hr.
St. Catherine of Siena Hospital is the largest in-patient psychiatric facility in Suffolk County, St. Catherine's Department of Psychiatry provides holistic, patient-centered care and advocacy services for adults aged 18 and older with a primary diagnosis of mental illness. Conditions treated include schizophrenia, and bipolar and depressive disorder conditions. Our nurses, physicians and support staff are devoted to providing advanced health care in an environment of compassion to our patients, their families and our community.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
