Full job description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Responsible to plan the build per forecast & backlog in order to support module as planned. Ensure sufficient 800G full build from core build till module level.

  2. Coordinates fully with Production regarding changes to production schedules & priorities of 800G. Able to adapt changes at a fast pace if there are changes in planning schedule.

  3. Coordinate material shortages with buyers.

  4. Responsible for demand fulfilment, implementation and control, and inventory management per quarterly target as planned.

  5. Coordinating with production, IE & Eng team to get sufficient DL, equipment & tester to support quarterly & weekly pack plan.

  6. Promptly addressing & resolving production issues to minimize delays in production or pack out

  7. Monitor WIP/build progress to ensure its meet per shipment SSD & CRD. Responsible for Customer Delight – OTD, WIP & Finished Goods (FG) target, and Safety Stocks Allocation Plan.

  8. Liaising closely with Inside Sales providing status of Backlog, Schedule start and completion dates of orders in weekly build plan. Follow up sales orders to closure until shipment is confirmed.

  9. Plan and execute RMA replacements, rework and purge parts.

  10. Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Business Admin/Economics/IE/Production Management/related disciplines.

  • Min 2-3 years in product planning/ scheduling or similar capacity.

  • Experience working in a fiber optic transceiver manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.

  • Able to work independently with strong decision making & directions.

Skills

  • Experience working with Oracle/ ERP/ SAP/ MRP tools.

  • Must exhibit a strong sense of data analytical skills with hands on working attitude.

  • Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
