Machinist

Its core competences are the development, production, distribution and servicing of diesel, gas and electric drivetrains for professional applications that is used in construction equipment, agricultural machinery, material handling equipment, stationary equipment, commercial vehicles, rail vehicles and other applications.
Job Summary
The machinist will be responsible for crankcase, cylinder head, and/or general engine component remanufacturing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Inspection and full remanufacturing of crankcases, cylinder heads, and/or other engine components.

Inspection and reworking other various engine components as required.

Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.

Safely Load and unload product into a machine
-
Protect machines and machined product by following processes and procedures such as part loading, being in control of the machine, and safely transporting product over short distances.

Maintain product quality through monitoring and adjusting offsets as needed.

Perform first article and buyoff.
-
Meets production demands.
-
Ability to work overtime as needed.

Ability to skillfully operate crankcase remanufacturing machines.

Confirming orders into SAP

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Other duties as assigned.
Other Qualifications

Experience in general machining practice

Ability to read and interpret G-codes, M-codes.

Experience with CNC Haas mill setup, proving program

Travel Requirements
Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 0% depending on business needs.
Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
-
3+ Years experience with general CNC Lathe and mill operations

Knowledge of inspection tools and their proper use.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Preferred Requirements

Knowledge of Engines

Experience operating a Sunnen Hone & HAAS CNC vertical mill.
Physical Requirements
- Employee will be working in a warehouse environment. Employee will be subject to noise, dust, diesel fuel, and oil. The Warehouse is environment is not a temperature controlled environment.
