Carter Kitchen & Bath is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk/Office Coordinator to join our team. This position is the first point of contact for our customers and plays a key role in supporting our designers, Store Manager, and daily showroom operations.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in staying organized, and can maintain a cheerful, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an individual who is proactive, resourceful, and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day.

Qualifications:

  • Previous office, administrative, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with Canva preferred

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable learning new software and systems

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude

  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

  • Pay: $18/hr; full time

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately

  • Greet customers and assist them in connecting with the correct team member

  • Learn and utilize our Point of Sale (POS) system to process payments

  • Provide administrative support to designers and the Store Manager

  • Maintain and update calendars, customer welcome signs, and delivery schedules

  • Keep the showroom organized, presentable, and welcoming at all times

  • Maintain permit records and communicate with city and township offices regarding permit and FOIA requirements

  • Track and manage information using Excel spreadsheets

  • Maintain office supply inventory

  • Enter purchase orders into the POS system and submit orders through vendor portals

  • Assist with general office and administrative tasks as assigned
