Full job description

NETGEAR is seeking an experienced Territory Account Manager to join our EMEA Enterprise Sales team. This is a pivotal role in our strategic initiative to expand sales of our industry-leading IP networking, switching, and wireless products across France.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruit and develop new partner relationships with a focus on face-to-face engagement, driving NETGEAR business across all product categories.

  • Manage existing channel partners, identifying key accounts and growing share of business across the full product portfolio.

  • Develop and execute business plans, create proposals, negotiate agreements, and maintain strong relationships with partners and prospects.

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.

  • Fully understand the competitive landscape within assigned accounts and develop strategies to establish NETGEAR as the category leader.

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, Tech Support, and Operations to optimise sales outcomes.

  • Provide market intelligence including competitive insights, market trends, and channel or technology issues impacting performance.

  • Deliver accurate weekly forecasts and performance reports, maintaining CRM and other systems with up-to-date partner and prospect data.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of enterprise IT sales experience, preferably in a channel sales role for a networking vendor.

  • Proven track record in sales and business development; a high performer with a strong ability to close and win against well-resourced competitors.

  • Demonstrated success managing a sales channel, including pipeline management, administration, and reporting.

  • Dynamic, entrepreneurial personality with the ability to build relationships at multiple levels within channel partner organisations, including CEO and Executive level.

  • Strong presentation, analytical, and business relationship-building skills.

  • Understanding of channel partner economics and how partnership requirements evolve over time.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and tenacious - a true hunter mentality.

  • Existing network of IT channel partners in France.

  • Fluent in French and English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience selling software, services, or cybersecurity solutions alongside networking or infrastructure products.

  • Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms.

  • Familiarity with the French IT distribution landscape and key reseller/VAR ecosystem.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This role requires approximately 70% travel, including joint calls with integrators and end-customers, attendance at trade shows, and on-site engagement at partner offices to drive the integration of NETGEAR products into partner solution offerings.
