Behavior Aide (After School Bridge Program)
Location: Lodi & Stockton, CA Elementary Schools
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Hours: 2-3 hours per day | 10-15 hours per week
Employment Type: Part-Time

We are seeking compassionate, energetic, and dependable Behavior Aides to support elementary-aged students with special needs participating in an engaging After School Bridge Program . This program is designed to enhance students' academic, social, emotional, and physical development through enriching, hands-on activities in a safe and supportive environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in special education, child development, psychology, social work, behavioral support, or anyone passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Providing support to elementary-aged students with special needs in an after-school setting

Assisting students with homework and reinforcing core academic subjects

Facilitating enrichment activities such as arts, music, health, nutrition, and physical recreation

Supervising students to ensure a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment

Implementing behavior support strategies and guiding student behavior appropriately
-
Encouraging social, emotional, communication, and life skills development
-
Assisting students with participation in group activities and peer interactions
-
Maintaining attendance records and other program-related documentation
-
Collaborating with program staff and school personnel to support student success
Qualifications
-
Experience working with children, particularly students with special needs, preferred
-
Background in education, special education, behavioral intervention, childcare, psychology, or related fields is highly desired

Ability to build positive relationships with elementary-aged students
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Reliable, patient, compassionate, and professional demeanor

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

High School Diploma or GED required
-
College coursework in Education, Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, or a related field is a plus
