Role Summary:

We’re looking for an Engineering Technician to join our vehicle team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical and electrical prototype assembly tasks on high-performance autonomous off-road ground vehicles.

  • Test and troubleshoot electromechanical systems.

  • Work in a small team to improve designs, fabricate components and modify existing parts for off-road vehicles.

  • Assume responsibility for safe and efficient operation of machinery and shop equipment.

  • Support safety, quality and process improvements. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Technical certification or associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience can substitute).

  • 3+ years of experience in assembly and repair of mechanical and electrical systems. Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Proficiency with metal and woodworking tools; experience with machine shop tools and welding preferred.

  • Proficiency with electrical wiring, soldering and cable/harness assembly preferred.

  • Experience with off-road vehicle operations, maintenance, and modifications preferred.

  • Ability to lift more than 40 lbs.

  • Grit: You excel in a small-team atmosphere, taking ownership of problems and working with your colleagues to solve problems across disciplines.

  • Field-test forward: You enjoy getting your hands dirty and going off the beaten path to see the results of your work.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance. Location

This position will be onsite in Seattle, WA .
