Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Perform daily jobsite safety meetings and enforce company safety standards.

• Supervise daily milling and asphalt paving operations on heavy civil construction projects.

• Lead and coordinate paving crew to safely meet production goals.

• Plan daily work assignments and ensure crews have the equipment and materials needed.

• Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, truck dispatch, subcontractors, and plant personnel.

• Monitor paving quality, grade, smoothness, and compaction to meet project specifications.

• Assist with scheduling equipment, trucking, and manpower.

• Read plans, grades, and project specifications.

• Identify and solve field issues while maintaining productivity.

• Train and mentor crew members while promoting teamwork and accountability.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of asphalt paving or heavy highway construction experience.

• Previous experience as a Paving Foreman, Lead Person, General Foreman, or equivalent leadership role.

• Strong understanding of:

o Asphalt paving operations

o Milling operations

o Roadway reconstruction

o Asphalt placement and compaction

o Production scheduling

o Traffic control and work zone safety

• Ability to lead crews in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience operating or working alongside paving equipment is highly preferred.

• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.

• Valid driver's license.

Compensation:

Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.

Salary Range: Prevailing Wage

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
