Job Description
General Purpose:
Responsible for multiple aspects of the processes of manufacturing, packaging, and distribution of powdered dairy products in a production facility following all sanitation, safety, and good manufacturing practices.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Assemble, operate, and disassemble equipment and machinery

Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment while adhering to various cleaning process specifications, including the safe utilization of chemicals

Operate a forklift, chain hoist and industrial scale

Walk, bend, and stand for the duration of a scheduled shift, up to 12 hours
-
Read, comprehend and follow manufacturing instructions, batch records and production schedules
-
Completion of regulatory compliance documentation as needed

Sample finished product for laboratory testing

Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgement

Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity
-
Attend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)
