Job Title: Warehouse/Material Handler Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse/Material Handler to join our team. This role involves staging orders and supplies for shipping, quality checking for accuracy and damaged inventory, and eventually operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Stage orders and supplies for shipping.

• Perform quality checks on orders and supplies for accuracy and damage.

• Utilize RF scanners and pick sheets for order management.

• Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and other material handling equipment.

• Ensure accurate order picking and staging for loading onto trucks.

• Conduct quality inspections of inventory and orders outbound to customers.

• Use internal inventory systems for order picking and shipping.

• Engage in part-time delivery duties after training and ride-alongs.

Essential Skills

• Experience with material handling and forklift operation.

• Proficiency with RF scanners and other warehouse equipment/systems.

• Ability to pick and stage orders for efficiency and accuracy.

• Skills in quality inspection, inventory accuracy, shipping, and receiving.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general labor, packaging, kitting, and pallet jack operation.

• Ability to perform loading and unloading tasks.

Work Environment

You will work both in delivery and warehouse settings, with a schedule that includes deliveries in town on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and warehouse duties on Tuesday and Thursday. The typical work hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility to cover vacations as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Fargo, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
