Remote Senior SAP ACM Functional Lead

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior SAP Agriculture Contract Management (ACM) Functional Lead to serve as the subject matter expert driving the design, configuration, and delivery of the SAP ACM module within a broader S/4HANA landscape. This role will lead requirement-gathering workshops, own fit-gap analysis, and partner directly with commercial, grain merchandising, and IT stakeholders to translate complex commodity trading and contract lifecycle processes into scalable SAP solutions. The Functional Lead will also mentor junior consultants and business analysts, and act as the primary liaison between the business and technical/development teams.

Day-to-Day

Lead functional design and configuration for the SAP ACM module across implementation, enhancement, and support workstreams

Drive requirement-gathering workshops with business stakeholders, demoing ACM functionality and translating commercial/trading needs into system requirements

Perform fit-gap analysis, categorize gaps as enhancements vs. product backlog, and propose SAP-standard solutions before customization

Author functional specifications for RICEFW objects and partner with ABAP/development teams through build, test, and deployment

Own integration touchpoints between ACM and adjacent modules (SD, MM, FI, TM, TRM) to ensure end-to-end contract-to-settlement accuracy

Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT), cutover activities, go-live, and hypercare

Provide day-to-day production support, incident triage, and root cause analysis for ACM-related issues

Mentor business analysts and junior functional consultants; act as the ACM SME for the program

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of SAP functional consulting experience, with 5+ years of hands-on SAP ACM (Agriculture Contract Management) implementation and support

Deep expertise across the ACM lifecycle: contract creation, pricing, settlement, load processing, position management, and reconciliation

Experience leading at least one full lifecycle S/4HANA implementation including ACM (S/4 1809 FPS02 or higher)

Strong integration knowledge across ACM ↔ SD, MM, FI, TM, and TRM (Treasury/Commodity Risk Management)

Proven ability to lead fit-gap analysis, functional design documents (FDDs), configuration, and cutover planning

Excellent stakeholder-facing communication skills and experience running requirement workshops with commercial/merchandising business users
