Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant that is perfect for someone who enjoys being at the center of a fast‑moving operation. Under minimal supervision, you will provide critical administrative and coordination support to the Site Leader and partner with multiple functional leaders across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, sales and marketing, and quality. You’ll help keep the site running smoothly while playing a hands‑on role in supporting Lean and continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with diverse teams, streamline processes, and directly contribute to operational excellence.

Administrative Assistant Essential Functions:

  • Schedule and maintain Outlook calendars for assigned group

  • Schedule internal and external meetings

  • Coordinate appropriate materials for meetings, appointments and presentations

  • Coordinate complex global and domestic travel arrangements; may involve organizing multi-city travel schedules/itineraries, and travel documents (Visas, passports)

  • Compile, create and maintain various reports, databases and charts using software applications

  • 5S: Support 5S auditing and improvements in the manufacturing and office areas

  • Roadmap Execution: Assist in the execution of our continuous improvement roadmaps including

  • Pre –work: time observations, cell/bench design, material planning, data gathering and analysis, general logistical support, and other tasks as required

  • Kaizen, Just-Do-It, and Project support

  • Post event follow up: Ownership or support of closing out actions from continuous improvement events

  • General event administration: Update newspapers, report out presentations, and team sites

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2–4 years of administrative support experience; 2–4 years using Lean tools

  • Knowledge: High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Skills/Abilities: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; self-directed and able to work independently; proactive approach and comfort with change

  • Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent

  • Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Working Conditions:

  • Requires substantial visual concentration

  • Exposure to normal manufacturing conditions

  • May require use of safety equipment including glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protection, heel/wrist straps and other PPE

  • Possible exposure to loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes

Standing: approximately 5 percent

Sitting: approximately 95 percent

Lifting: up to 10 pounds

Pushing: up to 10 pounds

Mental/Visual: use of computer and office equipment

Salary range: $31.11 - $38.51 Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
