Full job description
The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has an opening for a Part-Time (.6) LTS Special Education Teacher. The successful candidate will need to:

Demonstrate fluent understanding of NYS Learning Standards;

Demonstrate strong skills and knowledge in ELA, literacy, content-area vocabulary instruction, and mathematics;

Maintain a recovery mindset;

Demonstrate an understanding of co-teaching methodology, differentiated, and blended learning;

Demonstrate the ability to understand and implement IEP goals;

Effectively manage several students, projects, and schedules simultaneously in a high-paced environment;

Able to build a positive rapport with students and parents;

Demonstrate the willingness to work with different learning styles and learning needs;

Demonstrate excellent written and spoken communication skills;

Demonstrate ability to work effectively with colleagues with successful experience in working as part of a team;
