If so, we are looking for you to join our team as a Maintenance Technician!
SCHEDULE:

Monday-Thursday 3 pm- 11:30 pm & Sunday 1 pm- 9:30 pm

Days Off: Friday and Saturday

$27-$29/hr with an annual bonus that is tied to performance

Who You Are
A hands-on maintenance professional with strong HVAC, plumbing, and electrical skills. You catch the small details, work independently, and take pride in doing the job right the first time.
Core Responsibilities
-
Respond to and close out resident/staff service requests across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry
-
Perform routine HVAC service (filter changes, thermostat replacement, condensate lines), electrical repairs (outlets, switches, GFCIs, basic troubleshooting), and appliance install/service

Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems
-
Maintain common areas and amenities; ensure safety/code compliance

Support capital projects and technology upgrades (smart thermostats, access control, leak detection)

Fill in for building engineers or supervisors when necessary
Qualifications
Preferred Certifications & Licenses (Washington, DC)
-
EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred) – required for handling refrigerants.

DC 3rd Class Stationary Engineer License – highly beneficial for HVAC and boiler operations.

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Safety Certification – to ensure safe work practices.

CFC Certification – for refrigerant recovery and safe handling.

Basic Electrical or Journeyman License (DC or nearby jurisdiction) – strongly preferred for electrical troubleshooting and repair.

Plumbing license or trade certification – beneficial for advanced plumbing repairs.
What You Bring

3+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, or building operations — preferably in residential or hospitality settings

Strong skillset in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair

Comfort using digital work order systems, apps, or tablets to track and close tasks

Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work on your feet for 8 hour shifts

A flexible schedule, including potential evening or weekend on-call shifts

A team-player mentality with a strong work ethic, personal accountability, and attention to detail
