Full job description

This position is located at Fort Huachuca Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation: Mountain View Golf Course. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience performing duties as described above. Must possess one (1) year of directly related work experience to perform work in all phases of golf course maintenance (i.e. maintenance, repair and condition of the entire playing area of the golf course) Must be able to obtain a DOD Pest Management Certificate. Working knowledge of chemicals used on insects and for weeds and brush control. Incumbent is responsible for the maintenance, repair and condition of the entire playing area of the golf course. This includes directing and supervising subordinate employees in phases of course maintenance to include mowing, fertilizing and maintaining tees, fairways, greens, and roughs. Supervises the cleaning, painting and general repair of buildings, fences, bridges, and shelters directly affecting golf play to include the completion of general landscaping projects.
