Job Description
DUTIES : Implements and executes new programs, including SOR prep, forecasting, controls design, equipment build, and run-off and buy-off. Designs, constructs, integrates, installs, launches, and continuously improves equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high quality parts. Oversees deliveries to program timing milestones working with multiple suppliers. Provides project report outs to senior management. Supports existing programs and sites. Communicates effectively and works collaboratively with all customers and plants. Provides technical direction to less experience controls engineers and suppliers. Designs and troubleshoots electrical control systems. Develops and tests advanced process technology. Hybrid Work Policy – 3 Days In Office, 2 Days Remote – Must be able to report to local office.
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and Ten (10) years of experience as a Controls Engineer, Field Engineer, or related role Five (5) years of experience with: Electrical and control systems in a manufacturing environment; Mechanical concepts, including machine designs and process requirements; PLC and HMI programing, Ethernet, and Devicenet networks; Servo motors, motion control, and drives; Fanuc robots setup and programming; Designing and troubleshooting electrical control systems; Project management; Interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings; Working in a manufacturing environment; and Hydraulics and pneumatics.
