Full job description

Lovering Volvo Cars Meredith is looking for a full-time Title Clerk to join our team. The hours would be Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position will have many different responsibilities as part of the accounting department. We take pride in having a very friendly and team based environment. We are looking for individuals with a great attitude, team player, fun personality and excellent work ethic who are driven to learn and grow.

Title Clerk Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Accurate and timely submission of all state title work

  • Process paperwork from the F&I department.

  • Track funding on all financed deals.

  • Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.

  • Process daily receipts and ACH deposits

  • Process daily floor plan payoffs

  • Maintain and update daily reports to management

  • Process all Wholesale, Dealer Trades and Intercompany deals

  • Maintain CO's and titles for new and used inventory

  • Stay up to date on all registration and title regulations

  • Reconcile Schedules

  • Assist with month end close

  • Other duties as assigned

Compensation:

  • $20 per hour

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in the automotive business is preferred but will train the right individual

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

  • Detail oriented

  • Motivated Self-starter

  • Ability to Multi-task - you will often have many things in the air at once

  • Independent

  • Excellent Communication Skills

  • Attitude - one that includes optimism and positivity
