Packaging Associate, Kohler Original Recipe Chocolates
Work Mode: Onsite
**Location: ** Kohler, WI
Opportunity
Under close or general supervision, perform hand packaging and/or basic operation of packagingequipmentmachine(s)andanyrelatedcomputersystems.Accountabletoensure finished products meet quality and safety standards.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Packageboxesofchocolates.
-
Packageothercandies,trailmix,etc.inbagsandboxes.

Packagegiftbasketsandothergiftpackagingbothcustomandstandard.

Assistwithinventoriesofchocolatesandpackagingsupplies.

Ensure continuous flow of product andmonitorfor proper positioning, spacing, sealing, andcorrectcodes/labels.Seekappropriateresources(Leaders/Managers)asneededto correct and prevent issues in a timely manner.

Performvisualinspectionforanydefectsandreworkordiscarddefectiveproducts based on procedures.

Unmolding chocolatesfor preparation of packaging.Thisrequiresflippingmolds andpressingoutallofthevesselstoreleasechocolates.Chocolateswouldthen be placed in paper candy cups to be ready for packaging in boxes.

Completerequiredpaperwork,logs, andcomputersystemsfor inventoryaccuracy.

Maintainacleanworkingareabyperforminggeneralsanitationoftheworkspaceand/orequipment.

Completeallrequireddocumentation,recordkeeping,andreportingasrequiredbylaw and/or regulatoryagencies, (i.e., FDA, OSHA, USDA, etc.).

Followgovernmentstandardsandregulations.

Workisusuallyofarepetitivenatureandinvolvesexposuretodairyandnuts.

Performotherdutiesandresponsibilitiesasrequestedorrequiredbyleadership.
This is a part-time position working weekdays between 7:30 am - 3:00 pm.
Skills/Requirements

Priorrelatedwork experienceand/ortraininginafoodindustrypreferred.

Basicmath,reading,andwritingskills.

Abilitytofollowinstructions/policies/proceduresinwritten,verbal,ordiagramform.

Theabilitytowalkandstandforthemajorityofeachshiftandtoliftupto50pounds.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
The hourly range for this position is $15.20 - $22.80. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
