Read to learn more ▶️ https://lnkd.in/gd7brT8S Role Purpose The Multi-Skilled Technician (MST) is responsible for the upkeep, routine monitoring, and first-line care of critical utilities and installed equipment supporting the organic synthesis lab and pilot facility — including HVAC systems, Air Handling Units (AHUs), and other plant-installed machinery. This is not a deep-technical/engineering role; it is a hands-on custodial and monitoring role focused on keeping equipment healthy, available, and efficiently utilized. Full training on equipment-specific checks, tools, and escalation protocols is provided by the company. This role does not require deep technical expertise in HVAC/AHU engineering, electrical/instrumentation troubleshooting, or equipment repair design. The MST is expected to observe, monitor, record, and escalate — not diagnose or repair independently. All specialized skills required for basic monitoring and upkeep are taught on the job. Based at the Scimplify lab/plant facility, working closely with engineering, EHS, and lab/production teams. The role may involve shift-based working, movement across utility and equipment areas, and adherence to all site safety and PPE requirements. Key Responsibilities : • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related technical trade (preferred, not mandatory). • Prior exposure to plant utilities, HVAC/AHU systems, or general machine upkeep in a manufacturing, lab, or facility environment is an advantage. • Willingness to learn and follow structured checklists and digital/manual logging methods. • Basic understanding of reading gauges, meters, and simple instruments (or willingness to be trained). • Comfortable working in a chemical/lab manufacturing environment with applicable safety standards. • Reliable, disciplined, and detail-oriented in day-to-day record-keeping. • Willing to work in shifts, as required by plant operations.
