Learning Care Group is hiring a GSRP Pre-K Associate Teacher. The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan’s state‑funded Pre‑K program for 4‑year‑old children. Learning Care Group seeks a compassionate, curious, and committed Associate Teacher to support a high‑quality, play‑based classroom, assist with lesson planning, observe and assess child development, and engage families.

Key focus areas include Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using the approved GSRP curriculum, Assist in observing and assessing children’s development using approved tools, and Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom.

Successful candidates bring Associate Degree Or Higher In Early Childhood Education Or Child Development, Child Development Associate Credential, and Meet State Licensing Requirements. Important skills include Team Player, Passion For Early Childhood Education, Compassionate, Curious, Committed, and Maintaining A Safe Classroom. Preferred (not required): Planning Daily Lessons, Implementing Daily Lessons, Observing Children's Development, and Assessing Children's Development.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children. We’re looking for a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond.

As an Associate Teacher, you’ll:

  • Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using an approved GSRP curriculum

  • Assist in observing and assessing children’s development using approved tools

  • Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom

  • Build positive relationships with children and families

  • Participate in family engagement activities, staff meetings, and required professional development

We’re seeking compassionate, curious, and committed educators who are eager to make a lasting impact. Candidates should bring:

  • Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development

(Or a valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with a plan to complete an associate degree)

  • Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred

  • Ability to meet state licensing and GSRP requirements

  • Team player with a passion for early childhood education
