Performing cycle counts as assigned. The Specialist will also be required to enter cycle count results into MSS. In addition, researching and understanding root causes inventory discrepancies as they occur, and communicating those results to the supervisor and manager for that area.

Essential Functions:

  • Be knowledgeable of and adhere to company rules and policy.

  • Ensure accurate transaction postings of cycle count results

  • Following inventory control procedures and audit requirements

  • Communicate inventory status and issues clearly

  • Perform bay audits in specific areas that may or may not be assigned.

  • Perform counts on at risk part numbers.

  • Proactively monitor key processes.

  • Escalate & train on any found key discrepancy.

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and root causes

  • Help implement counter measures.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts.

  • Operates equipment as assigned, which may include tractor-trailers, trailer jacks, lift trucks, order pickers, SA`s, electric or manual pallet jacks, stretch wrap machines, hand-held RF terminals, and radios.

  • May require operating powered equipment including any or all of the following Forklift (Stand up / Sit- Down), Order picker, Tugger, Turret Truck, pallet jack, electric pallet jack. May require climbing ladders.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED):

  • 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
