Job Summary/Overview

The focus of this position will be to work within the Sanitary Production area performing TIG welding.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday

6am - 2:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Measure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and various measuring equipment.

  • Operate power grinders/tools, drill press, belt sander, and other miscellaneous hand tools.

  • Interpret and manufacture to drawing specifications, customer requirements, and work order direction.

  • Ensure welding operations meet set specifications and construction requirements and inspect finished product for defects.

  • Works in a safe manner complying with all safety procedures.

  • Maintains clean and safe work area following 5S procedures as required.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

  • Ability to read blue prints.

  • Proficient in using various measurement tools to establish the configuration or position of a welding plan.

  • Ability to weld within tight tolerances.

  • A team player with excellent communication skills.

  • Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.

  • Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skills.

  • Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.

  • Attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.

  • Previous experience in TIG welding of stainless steel.

Compensation

$19 - $25+ depending on experience
