Job Title: Production Line Lead - 1st Shift
Location: Macungie, PA
Type: 6 month Contract To Hire
Compensation: $20.00/hr - $24.00/hour
Overview:
Reputable industry leader is seeking a Line Lead for their pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging operations in Macungie, PA!
Responsibilities
-
Assist in directing employees’ activities within assigned manufacturing room(s) or areas to meet daily production schedules
-
Communicate supervisor’s job orders to employees and ensure all batch record entries are completed
-
Maintain line/area in an orderly and safe manner while adhering to GMPs
-
Monitor packaging operations for optimal performance and assist with reporting production metrics
-
Train designated peers as needed, complete line/area changeovers, and oversee cleaning and check procedures
-
Conduct attendance checks, support training initiatives, and coordinate priority setups/startups
-
Provide status updates to management and ensure lines/areas are ready as scheduled
-
Ensure batch record corrections are completed timely and recommend process and equipment improvements

Troubleshoot work issues, assist with deviations and investigations, and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
-
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA/BT) in a technical discipline OR Associate’s degree with 3–5 years of pharmaceutical packaging experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience in pharmaceutical or related industry inspection required

Strong documentation and communication skills

Strong organizational and planning abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)

Prior leadership experience (conflict resolution, critical thinking, communication) required

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds; vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and focus adjustment
