Description

Summary

Responsible for ensuring that all customer product is secure and fully accountable at all times. Use various methods and technology, to track exact quantities and location, including work in process, of all product and goods of value. Machine count or hand count the sheets of printed product produced.

Essential Duties:

  1. Know and understand Ashton Potter stamp accountability process and procedures, including the use of both manual and PC based product tracking systems.

  2. Correctly complete all paperwork needed to report stamp product quantity and location to production, management and customer.

  3. Ability to reconcile good product from waste, segregate both and perform all necessary steps, including documentation, for disposition of non-conforming product per AP and customer specifications.

  4. Computes and records total of tallied figures.

  5. Documents required accountability and production information accurately and completely.

  6. Sorts product into three (3) categories.

  7. Records number and types of defects for quality control purposes.

  8. Maintenance of machine required. Including changing of the tape roll, cleaning tabs when needed, etc. Maintenance work orders must be properly completed as per AP standard.

  9. Understand specifics of equipment and production processes to know where waste can be generated and procedures required to track and account for stamp images.

  10. Perform periodic audits of accountability and production processes to ensure compliance and accurate tracking of goods.

  11. If not already certified, undertake training and become certified to operate electric and propane powered tow motors, pallet mules and walkie-stacker type material handling equipment inside the plant. Move material outside of the plant as needed.

  12. Assist Shipping in performing USPS envelope registry functions which may include one or all of the following tasks: generating labels and other documentation, register cartons for shipments, band & wrap pallets for pickup and staging of shipments.

  13. Provide assistance and required documentation to Customer Service and Accountability department.

  14. Constantly monitor WIP and finished pallets to ensure that all stamp product is segregated by job.

  15. Perform tasks safely and in accordance with Ashton Potter health &safety, attendance, security and other company policies & procedures. Inform supervision of unsafe conditions or practices..

  16. May be required to assist Shipping and Floor Help duties as needed.

  17. Keep work area clean and organized.
