Overview

 

Providence Medical Center is seeking experienced nurse practitioners to join the daytime hospitalist team to care for patients in an inpatient setting.  Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as an advanced practice provider in the inpatient setting and be comfortable working autonomously.

 

Responsibilities The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

 

Qualified candidates will have training in acute care and have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a hosptialist provider.

Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING  1. MSN with specialization as an ARNP2. Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse, preferably Acute Care trained3. BLS upon hire and maintain current4. Two years of experience as a nurse practitioner working inpatient.5. Previous experience with electronic health record.
