About the position: This position is located at the Trails End Event Club on F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming. This position is considered Flexible and is guaranteed 0.00 hours but has the potential to work up to 40 hours per week. You may be required to work some nights, weekends and holidays. Flexible employees are not eligible for leave or benefits. The starting pay for this position is set by Federal pay setting regulations at $17.19 per hour. Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: No previous training or experience is required. Must be able to follow simple oral instructions. Must be able to use knives and automatic slicers to prepare garnishes. Must be physically able to frequently lift objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds, push and pull objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift, up to and over, 40 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must meet the appropriate minimum age requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1/ National Agency Check with Inquiries background investigation. Physical Effort: Requires frequent lifting of objects weighing 5-15 pounds, light to moderate pushing and pulling objects weighing 10-20 pounds, occasionally lifting, up to and over 40 pounds. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Carries supplies and equipment, such as liquors, fruits, ice, glasses, linens, and silverware from storage areas to the bar. Slices and peels fruit. Fills ice bins and crushes ice. Washes and cleans bar glasses, bar equipment and keeps the work area clean and neat. Replaces empty beer kegs with full kegs with the aid of a dolly, and stocks beer coolers. Wipes down the interior and exterior surfaces of coolers. Helps in setting up service bars and portable bars. Carries debris to waste containers. May serve bottle beer, soft drinks, and draw beer from kegs.
