2nd Shift Aerospace Painter

Our client, a dynamic player in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Painter to join their team. As a Painter, you will be part of the production department supporting the painting team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 2nd Shift Aerospace Painter

Location: Garden Grove, CA

Pay Range: $18-$24/hr.

Shift: Monday - Friday 3:30pm – 12am (Saturday's and OT required as needed)

What's the Job?

• Must be able to mix and measure paint per specifications.

• Review work order and confirm mixed paint and part match, prior to painting in booth

• Clean parts as per specification Paint part according to specification and thickness

• Keep paint booth filters changed, booth FOD free and complete paperwork

• Post paint inspection of parts for appearance and proper coverage

• Able to paint effectively on different surfaces and metals

• Applies some advanced skills that allow employee to adapt and meet some complex or non-routine situations

• Observe safety regulations and wear protective masks and clothing during spray painting operations

• Complete the paint daily checklist

• Properly utilizes all PPE required under OSHA Guidelines

• Maintains all paint equipment

• Other duties as assigned

What's Needed?

• Previous Painter Assistant or Painting experience is REQUIRED

• Previous Aerospace experience is also REQUIRED

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.

• Commitment to following safety procedures and guidelines.
