Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Loader Operator to support a large-scale roadway and civil construction project at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin. This individual is responsible for operating front-end loaders to move, stockpile, and load construction materials in support of excavation, grading, roadway construction, and site development activities. The ideal candidate has experience operating wheel loaders on heavy civil construction projects and can efficiently load haul trucks, maintain stockpiles, and support production while working safely around other heavy equipment and construction crews. This is a fully on-site opportunity requiring 5, 8–10-hour shifts daily.
Day to day responsibilities
•Safely operate front-end loaders in an active heavy civil construction environment
•Load articulated dump trucks, haul trucks, and other equipment with soil, gravel, aggregate, rock, and excavated materials
•Build, maintain, and manage material stockpiles
•Support excavation, grading, roadway construction, and site preparation activities
•Transport materials throughout the project site as needed
•Assist with loading imported fill, aggregate base, and other construction materials
•Work closely with excavator, dozer, grader, water truck, and compaction crews to maintain production schedules
•Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic preventative maintenance
•Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and maintenance needs promptly
•Follow all OSHA, USACE, and company safety standards

Skills and Requirements
•3+ years’ experience operating motor graders on heavy civil, roadway, earthwork, or site development projects
•operating wheel loaders or similar heavy equipment
•Experience working on heavy civil, roadway, earthwork, site development, or quarry projects
•Ability to pass a drug screen and background check •Experience working on federal construction projects
•OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certified
