Full job description

Description

The Engineering role is a hands-on individual contributor role for an execution-focused engineer who is eager to learn, grow, and make a direct impact in a fast-paced product development environment. It will support filling process development across our product portfolio — spanning skincare, color cosmetics, fragrance, and packaging — by running trials, executing experiments, and collecting and summarizing data under the guidance of senior team members. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners across Formulation, Process Development, Packaging, Quality, Commercialization, and Manufacturing Engineering, and travel to manufacturing sites to support process handovers.

The ideal candidate is curious, hands-on, and eager to build a deep understanding of mechanical and pneumatic systems, materials, and manufacturing equipment — and apply that knowledge to deliver real results at the desk and on the floor.

The ideal candidate is someone eager to contribute to the acceleration of industrialization of complex product forms — supporting the team in driving smooth, right-first-time transitions from pilot to manufacturing. They are intellectually curious and disciplined enough to engage with first principles thinking, helping to build and execute targeted learning plans and DOEs that address real manufacturing challenges. This role also offers meaningful opportunities to contribute to the creation of new intellectual property, growing alongside a team that is actively shaping the future of prestige beauty manufacturing.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline with 2–4 years of relevant experience, OR currently pursuing / recently completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or Mechanical Engineering with demonstrated hands-on lab or process development experience — preferably in cosmetics, personal care, pharma, or a related consumer goods industry

  • Experience with filling equipment and process development in a manufacturing environment is a strong plus

  • Familiarity with DOE methodology and data analysis

  • Exposure to GMP-regulated environments is a plus

  • Working knowledge of Solidworks or similar engineering design tools

Technical Skills

  • Foundational understanding of electro-mechanical systems and how they interact within manufacturing and filling equipment

  • Basic knowledge of materials used in filling processes (metals, plastics, elastomers, etc.), with foundational understanding of cosmetic ingredients and product forms (emulsions, gels, powders, waxes, etc.), fluid rheology, and viscosity behavior and how these properties relate to filling process execution and equipment handling

  • Ability to learn and operate complex equipment with guidance and grow toward independent operation

  • Comfortable working with data — collecting, organizing, and presenting findings clearly

Soft Skills & Ways of Working

  • A self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow in a technical environment

  • Hands-on and energetic — thrives working on the floor and in the lab
