Employment Type: Part time Shift: Evening Shift

Description: In the Intensive Care Unit ICU at Saint Mary’s Hospital , the Clerical Coordinator serves by managing administrative tasks, coordinating patient care, and ensuring smooth communication among healthcare providers on the unit

What will you do:

  • Administrative Support : Handle clerical duties such as answering phone calls, managing patient records, and scheduling appointments. Ensure that all patient files are accurate and up-to-date.

  • Patient Interaction : Greet patients and visitors, assist with admissions and discharges, and address patient inquiries, directing them to the appropriate healthcare professionals as needed.

  • Communication Coordination : Serve as a communication link between patients, nurses, doctors, and other departments, relaying important information and ensuring that all parties are informed.

  • Inventory Management : Monitor and order medical supplies as needed, maintaining an organized and well-stocked unit. Minimum Qualifications :

  • Education: High School or equivalency certificate is required.

  • Experience: Clerical Coordinator, or Unit Secretary experience in an Acute Inpatient setting is preferred.

Position Highlights and Benefits:

Part-time: 24 hrs. per week, Evening Shift

  • 8-hour shift, 3 pm to 11:30 p
  • Rotating weekends and holidays are required
