As a member of our team, you will be trained to work directly in the homes of seniors to support their daily living requirements. This can entail personal care, homemaker, companionship, and travel needs. It is your job to provide these services in a manner that also positively impacts the senior’s emotional, spiritual, and physical health.

  • Provide health care services in patient’s residences

  • Perform domestic and household tasks

  • Transport and accompany patients to doctor’s office or to hospital

  • Assist with client’s personal care activities

  • Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition

  • Maintain patient’s care records and document provided services

  • Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

  • Have familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards

  • Have proper nursing and health care administration skills

Requirements

  • A Valid (NYS) HHA Certifications or PCA Certification

  • A Physical within the past 12 months

  • PPD within the last year or chest x-ray within 5 years

  • Proof of MMR Immunization

  • Drug Screen

  • Valid ID and Social Security Card

  • Proficiency in English

  • Warmth, compassion, patience, trustworthiness, an upbeat and confident personality, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills If COVID-19 vaccinated, please provide vaccination card

Schedule:

  • 12- 10- 8- 6-5-4 hours shift

  • Day shift

  • Monday to Friday

  • Self-determined schedule

  • Weekend availability
