Activities Assistant

Phoenix Senior Living is hiring an Activities Assistant. The Assistant Program and Outreach Director (Activities Assistant) supports daily resident‑centered activities at The Phoenix at Lake Lanier, integrating the Phoenix Senior Living philosophy to promote wellness across emotional, purposeful, physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual dimensions. The role assists with activity planning, resident engagement, and coordination of volunteers while ensuring orderly environments and appropriate care documentation.

Key focus areas include Refer to each new resident’s profile and addendum., Facilitate personalized activities incorporating all wellness dimensions throughout the day and evening with resident care associate participation., and Recognize resident condition changes and take appropriate action..

Successful candidates bring High School Diploma. Important skills include Facilitating Activities, Recognizing Resident Changes In Condition, Maintaining Activity Areas Orderly, Maintaining Inventory, Lead Activities, and Motivate Volunteers. Preferred (not required): Leading Activities, Motivating Volunteers, Motivating Fellow Associates, and Assisted Living Industry Knowledge.
