The Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) in Rochester has openings for talented Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team. Operated by Minnesota Direct Care & Treatment, the CBHH is a small inpatient psychiatric facility that provides rapid assessment and stabilization for adults experiencing an acute mental health episode.

Job duties include:

  • Perform nursing duties in caring for adults with acute to chronic and severe mental illness, including keeping clinical charts and reports on the emotional and physical status of patients.

  • Facilitate the admission of patients to the unit; take temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure readings; administer and record prescribed medication.

  • Promote and participate in rehabilitation activities and encourage patient personal hygiene.

  • Maintain a clean, hazard-free environment and comply with all safety and health standards, laws, regulations, and policies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess or be eligible for license in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse.

**Future Practical Nurses who are within six (6) months of graduating and taking their NCLEX-LPN are encouraged to apply. Contingent job offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of NCLEX-LPN.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Patient care experience within a mental health setting.
