Position Overview:
Responsible for assessing and treating patients with hearing, balance, and related disorders. May also be responsible for procedures related to hearing aide dispensing and providing services to specific assigned scope of patients. Exercises sound judgment, and developed clinical skills to provide input and implement the patient's plan of care based on the diagnosis in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Assists with clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serves as clinical instructor for assigned students.

EDUCATION:
- Graduate of an accredited audiology program.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

AUDIO-Licensed Audiologist

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.

Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines.

Pay Range is $64,105.60 to $89,741.60 / annual salary
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
