Full job description

As a Sr Systems Eng Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and overseeing a team of highly skilled systems engineers in the design, development, and delivery of advanced systems and solutions. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction for systems engineering activities, driving innovation, and setting clear objectives and expectations. You will manage project portfolios, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the successful execution of projects.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our systems engineering operations. You will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a team of systems engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. You will also identify and mitigate risks, and make data-driven decisions to keep projects on track.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set clear objectives and expectations for the team

  • Manage project portfolios, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful execution of projects

  • Regularly evaluate and provide feedback to team members

  • Identify and mitigate risks, and make datadriven decisions to keep projects on track

  • Champion best practices in systems engineering and integration

  • Collaborate with technical experts and thought leaders to drive technological advancements

  • Present complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering and engineering management

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME)

  • Experience in leading complex system integration projects

  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies
