As a Freight Release Coordinator, you will validate freight invoices & statements, resolve invoice discrepancies, record customer charges, and approve the release of customer freight after payment is obtained. You will work within the Accounting Department and collaborate closely with our Operations Department.
Requirements:

Minimum 1 years’ experience in a fast-paced data entry or similar clerical role.

Previous work experience in the Logistics and Transportation industry, notably in freight forwarding, is highly preferred.

Previous experience using the ERP system, CargoWise One, is preferred.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; willingness to learn advanced functions.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, and Word.
Responsibilities:

Review Original Bill of Ladings (BOLs), legal documents, and payments received to send release documentation and payments to vendors.

Process 300+ documents daily in adherence to tight deadlines.

Record charges, refunds, invoices, checks, and related reports into the ERP system, CargoWise One.

Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.

Utilize CargoWise One and Microsoft Excel to track, trace, and update the status of shipments.

Communicate with customers, overseas offices, and vendors by email and phone with status updates on shipments.

Address any customer inquiries related to release status, customs status, and payment verification.

Provide customers and vendors with payment options for shipment release .
Salary:
- $22-$28/hour dependent on transferable experience and education level.
