Location: Clark, NJ
Duration: 5 month contract
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Pay rate:$ 25.74/hour
Job duties for this position include:

Physicochemical characterization of haircare and cosmetic products following defined protocols and quality criteria
-
pH, viscosity, rheology, microscopy, appearance, foam behavior, etc.
-
Maintain full traceability from sample intake to data delivery, ensuring clean documentation and version control
-
Maintain stability records, update databases, and flag anomalies or trends
-
Contribute to workflow optimization, proposing improvements to testing cadence, data handling, and instrument utilization
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree + 2 years’ experience, or QC/Physical Measurements certification/diploma
-
Technical research experience in a laboratory setting
-
Strong math/science foundation
-
Methodical and organized approach to testing and documentation

Rigor and critical thinking in analysis and reporting

Team oriented with a constructive feedback mindset

Pay Details: $25.74 per hour
