THE TEAM AND ROLE

We are looking for an AI Operations Manager (all genders) to unlock the full potential of AI across Avelios. In this role, you will work directly with our CEO and collaborate across every function to identify high-impact opportunities, redesign workflows, and build AI-powered automations from the ground up.

This is a highly entrepreneurial role with company-wide scope. You will own AI initiatives end-to-end — from identifying opportunities and designing solutions to implementation, rollout, and continuous optimization. Using tools such as Make, APIs and the latest AI models, you will fundamentally change how our teams operate and scale.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and implement the highest-impact automation and AI use cases across the company

  • Design AI-powered workflows and automations using Make, Claude API, Pinecone APIs, and AI tools

  • Collaborate cross - functionally with teams to optimize processes and reduce manual work

  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and tools and translate them into business impact

  • Measure and track automation impact and efficiency gains

  • Enable teams across Avelios to adopt AI and continuously improve how they work

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years in consulting, operations, or a similar cross-functional senior role

  • Strong stakeholder management skills across complex environments

  • Experience in building AI/automation systems from scratch (not just maintaining existing ones),(Experience in healthcare, regulated environments, or high-growth startups is a plus)

  • Enough technical depth to converse about LLM pipelines, agentic workflows, and integrations

  • Deep hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures (Claude, GPT, or similar)

  • Ownership mindset — you proactively identify opportunities, don’t wait for tickets, and bring things to 100%

  • Excellent communication skills in English and German (C1 level or higher)
