📋 Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. This position involves working with small components and precision tools to perform assembly operations in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with 1-2 years of assembly experience are preferred, but we are open to training motivated individuals with less experience who demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

✅ Responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations using microscopes and precision hand tools

• Conduct die bonding, wire bonding, header assembly, and related tasks

• Use tweezers and other small hand tools to assemble components

• Operate automated assembly equipment as needed

• Read and interpret assembly drawings and technical documentation

• Follow assembly procedures and quality standards

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Report defects, quality concerns, or production issues to supervisors

🎯 Qualifications

• 1-2 years of assembly experience preferred, but less experience will be considered

• Experience working with microscopes or small components is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Wire bonding experience is a plus

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills

• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bohemia, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
