Adecco is assisting a major client in their search for a Equipment Operator’s in Southington, CT. This is a contract opportunity, offering weekly pay and a chance to expand your experience. Job Description :
An Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of moderately complex automated assembly machines. This individual will ensure the continued operation of assembly machines through interpretation of and appropriate response to machine faults and through occasional alignment of stations and fixtures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Leverage ATS and resume management tools to efficiently screen, track, and hire candidates.

Perform start-up operation from power off/cold state; complete equipment and product paperwork.

Participate in changeovers to include line clearance, system transactions, and associated documentation.

Perform work order set ups in electronic batch record, data acquisition and inventory management systems.

Pull test samples for QC in process inspection, remove completed production from machine and place in finished goods totes.

Perform minor troubleshooting to diagnose machine performance issues.

Maintain 5S standards in assigned work areas.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:

High School Diploma/GED
-
1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
-
Must accurately follow both verbal and written instructions
-
Must be able to lift up to 35lbs and push/pull up to 80lbs
-
Work environment can range from clean room and proper gowning requirements to a production area that is open, potentially noisy, and with moving equipment
-
Recurring physical demands include standing, walking, stooping, crouching, climbing, bilaterial motion involving hands, wrists, and upper body
-
Work involves use of manufacturing equipment or proximity to equipment. May be exposed to biohazards and/or chemicals

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
